Info Strrumpfelbacher footpath and Steinbrückle:
Location and history: The Strrumpfelbacher footpath is a connection from north to south through the western Schurwald. In earlier times it was used as a connection from Strrumpfelbach and from the Remstal to Esslingen.
The Strrumpfelbacher footpath from Esslingen to Strrumpfelbach crosses the Stettener Haldenbach in today's NSG Stettener Bach.
Here at the Haldenbach there is also a stone bridge that allows you to cross the Haldenbach with dry feet and even with heavy luggage.
This bridge is popularly known as Steinbrückle.
