Wonderfully maintained Wengerter houses in Stetten below the Y castle, great backdrop!

For some strangers, the correct pronunciation of I-burg comes as a surprise. Eibenburg (yew/conifer) became Yburg and then Y-burg. The castle was purely a residential tower, which is why the description in an advertising brochure "convertible among the knights' fortresses" is surprising. In 1760 the castle complex was demolished and only the outer walls remained.
Since 2011, the sculptures (e.g. Der Weingeist) by Karl Ulrich Nuss have been eye-catchers and the view of the Remstal is worth the climb.
