A short hike over the Greenland ice sheet is an unforgettable experience. From the smaller and larger surveys you have a very good view over the "Arctic Ocean". Don't forget hiking poles!

Hiking
In Kangerlussuaq you can book tours on the ice sheet with experienced guides. An overnight stay on the ice sheet is also recommended. The danger of crevasses should not be underestimated when hiking into the Iceap!
