Tips

  • Betty

The Pleisenhütte was built at the beginning of the 1950s by the legendary Bergfex Toni Gaugg. Today his son Sigi manages the beautifully situated hut. the Wetterstein Mountains.

Above the hut is the Vorderkar cave, where Toni Gaugg made the unique find of a 7,000-year-old moose skeleton, which is particularly well preserved.

Nice hut with a great view terrace. Ideally located on the way to Pleisenspitze.
