The Karlsteg is a foot and cycle path bridge over the Pegnitz in the Fürth city park. It leads over the river at the level of the city theater and, like the other Pegnitz footbridges, is a gateway from downtown Fürth.
The original footbridge was opened in 1882. Today's footbridge was moved about 20 m further into the Wisengrund as part of the Pegnitz regulation in 1960/61.
