      Because Frankfurt is so big
      there you divide it
      in Frankfurt on the Oder
      and Frankfurt am Main 🏙️
Last day in Mainhattan and at the end we took a little Sunday walk on the Nidda to the Nutria Habitat. I can recommend it to everyone to stop by here when you are in the metropolis on the Main. We parked in the northwest center and then we went to the green meadows ...g.co/kgs/C9oeRtTake carrots and oatmeal with you and they little fuckers will love you 🤩An eventful weekend with 110km of cycling, open beer gardens, 3x storms and thunderstorms and eventful hours comes to an end. The A3 will then take me back to the Franconian homeland. Thanks to the best city guide in Frankfurt and local guide in the world 👱🏻‍♀️ for the great hours for two!

The third day in the Main metropolis and for the third time it rained. What we saw driving ON the Main today was impressive. A group of cyclists, a Trabi, a car parade and a couple of skiers came towards us. And in Bürgel there is a plaque from our Bamberg Emperor Heinrich II. To commemorate the Reichstag in 1018. So Heiner and his Kuni have already been there, and so am I ... even on my bike 😁Today's tour "Graffiti on the Roads" shows a lot of great works of art and impressions that I have tried to capture in the best mountain grouchy manner. Thanks to my tour guide 👱🏻‍♀️ for a great long weekend, cycling 110km and great impressions from your city. Finally, we went to the Fressgass for dinner and through Frankfurt by night 🌃

Today we made it home dry. But as we were sitting in the outside area of a beautiful beer garden and were about to leave, a violent storm surprised us. A tree about 30 meters high fell over and blocked our way home. But the great flora and fauna made up for it enough. From turtles, wonderful ponds, countless mandarin ducks with many 🐣, there was a lot that you can't see at home.Thank you for the great tour through your city forest 👱🏻‍♀️😘

My sweetheart was planning a great tour via Lilu, Schwanheimer Dünen, Höchst along the Nidda to the nutria to Bad Vilbel and a picnic on the way in nature 🏞
So far so good ... Before Höchst it was already bad to the Grillschen Weiher then it was the end of the area. Saved under a bridge and then in the pouring rain to Rödelheim to the train station, on the S-Bahn and home 🙆🏼‍♀️ ...
Folks, I haven't been so badly wet in my life, not even in the South East Asian downpour.
We went to the nutria on Sunday and the sneakers are still wet after 4 days and can be put in the washing machine 😅😊

In the end we got caught in a thunderstorm and took the tram home. But it was still a nice tour through the metropolis on the Main. The start was in Sachsenhausen with a wonderful view of the skyline, opposite is the Binding Brewery and the headquarters of the Radeberger Group, the largest brewery in Germany. Probably they cut out as many hectoliters of plörre as all the breweries in the Franconian homeland put together. We continued along the Main (which is somehow much larger than in Kemmern) to a fire brigade and the electricity police and then to the highlight of the day, the MS Heimliche Liebe, an overgrown boat with a garden on the roof at a lock system like Schleuse 100 in Bamberg. From there to the Schwanheimer dune (reminds me of the lizard trail in Nuremberg) and on to Höchst, a nice little place with lots of half-timbered houses and a castle. They even have a ferry for bicycles (much larger than in Pettstadt) but the box looks like the party boat on Mallorca 🤣At Höchst is the confluence of the Nidda in the Main (like the river triangle Pegnitz and Rednitz in Fürth) and we actually wanted to go along the Nidda to the Nutrias, but suddenly we got caught in a thunderstorm ... we just got under Rescued a motorway bridge and took away a nice graffiti in mountain grouch style. Thanks anyway to my tour guide 👱🏻‍♀️, you've done great, we might be able to do the rest of our round tomorrow when the clothes are dry again ...

The bright blue sky literally invited to a little after-work round above the rooftops of my hometown.Bamberg from above is always well worth seeing, and because the Schlenkerla is open again, there's a little encore from below today 😉

Hot town, summer in the city begins the well-known song by Joe Cocker. I have to admit, it got really cold with the second wheat, but the weather should get a little better soon. The Corona Schnelltestbüssla is right in front of the entrance to the city beach, so I got in line ... nowadays it doesn't cost anything to be tested.Entrance to the city beach 1, - Euro hygiene fee is also bearable, the beer prices for towels 🤢 are 4.50 the Seidla but the flair, the ambience and strolling after the long lockdown break is priceless. There are burgers, steaks, bratwurst and Tang has also set up an Asian snack bar.Anyone who wants to experience something exclusive is in good hands there, but it is nothing for children, and I also have to admit that I simply prefer my Bamberg beer cellar to a heaped sand hill in downtown Nuremberg. But for that it has to be summer first ...

If you want to show your girlfriend the beautiful Franconian countryside, the Hermitage should of course not be missing. A beautifully landscaped park belonging to the margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach, we know them better than Hohenzollern.Yes, Bayreuth, like Ansbach, Kulmbach, Bayreuth, Hof or Cadolzburg, was ruled by the Prussians, which is one of the reasons that Franconia is divided by Catholics and Protestants and we have different holidays on August 15th.So it was a successful Whit Monday🌹 but unfortunately we forgot to stop the tour at the car 🤷🏼‍♀️

There was a nice trip to the Bayreuth Hermitage 💐 on Whit Monday. It wasn't that crowded after 3 p.m. of course at the water feature at the set time the people meet but I thought everything was well distributed. It is especially nice to lock the castle with colored stones, which is a really great job. The park ⛲ is quite spacious and there is always something nice to discover in a line of sight. One eye-opening in every season ⭐⭐⭐⭐
