During excavation work, bones of the woolly rhinoceros were found in the approximately 25 m deep cave and, according to the latest investigations, they were also worked on by human hands thousands of years ago.
The cave is barred so that cave dwellers like bats can live there undisturbed.

Although there are a lot of tunnels in this area, this place is not one of them. This is actually a natural cave and not a man-made tunnel.
Remains of a woolly rhino were recovered from this cave many years ago.
This animal species populated this area about 10,000 to 30,000 years ago, during the last ice age.

You can see the many small caves in the rock from the footpath. A dream for bats.
