A stream that drove twelve mills. Unfortunately only small ruins and signs left!
Before many springs in the Gimmeldinger Tal were captured, the Mußbach rushed more powerfully through the valley and the village and was able to turn large mill wheels. It also had enough incline, and so a total of 12 mills had been built that performed very different tasks, e.g. B. milling, sawing or forging.
The last scenic highlight of the hiking tour is the pretty Benjamin Valley, which we follow downhill on narrow paths and over small wooden bridges close to the Mussbach. In this section you come across old millstones that bear witness to the earlier use of water power.

The hiking trail leads close to the Mußbach stream. nice to walk Old remains of walls or mill wheels still remind us that there were numerous mills here.
