As you walk along this old military road, built by General Wade's British soldiers in the 1700s, you'll come across this wonderfully dilapidated cottage, barely standing in the stark wilderness.
Given the lack of cover in this wild area, this cottage can be the perfect place to shelter from a storm and grab some lunch whilst you wait for the weather to blow over.

In Tigh-na-sleubhaich - that's the name of the area - you'll find numerous relics of former cottages right on the old military road along the West Highland Way. With the surrounding Mamore Mountains simply a picturesque, typically Scottish picture.
The ruins of the surrounding walls of old masonry invite you to camp. But you should take into account the visit of sheep.
