Of all of the Mamores' sinuous ridges, none are as revered as the Devil's Ridge. The glorious arête connects the grand, quartzite throne of Sgùrr a'Mhaim and unfortunate Sgor an Iubhair: once a Munro, since relegated to a mere top.

Perhaps it's the association with Satan, or perhaps it's the intimidating appearance of its narrow, rollercoaster ridgeline, but it certainly quickens the pulse before you've even set foot on it. In reality, it makes for an airy ridge walk of sublime quality, with just enough hands-on-rock thrown in to qualify as a grade one scramble. Confident hillgoers should have no trouble in summer. In winter, it is somewhat more devilish.

Beautiful and airy ridge line. Never truly difficult, but with two short scrambling sections that require use of hands. The entire ridge feels more exposed than the pictures make it seem, people who are afraid of heights or prone to vertigo may struggle here.
