Road completely battered, neither uphill nor downhill recommended. Great fun with MTB, definitely nothing for racing bikes.

Nice alternative route to St. Märgen. Asphalt throughout but partly in poor condition, therefore only recommended uphill. If you take the Ibentalstraße beforehand, you can get up from Freiburg almost car-free .. but in places a lot of sweat!

The road has either been repaired or my standards are not that high. A beautiful, narrow road, with constant ups and downs, a Black Forest idyll, practically no traffic, and at times a bit demanding for sport.
