The Vogesenkapelle was built in 1938. Farmer Leopold Hättich from the opposite Reinerhof has fulfilled his promise. He announced during his deployment in the First World War in the Vosges Mountains that he will build a chapel, if the Black Forest is spared by the war turmoil.
