An extraordinary sculpture is the Christ statue, which can be reached on foot from Meggenhorn Castle. The 5.5 meter high figure by the Lucerne sculptor Josef Vetter is reminiscent of the Baroness Heine. The owner of the Meggenhorn estate at the time, who was infested with a fatal disease, made a promise in her distress that she would erect a statue of the blessing Christ if her prayers for a healing would be answered. The baroness recovered and kept her promise. The Christ statue is located on the Meggenhorn Castle riverside path.
