Today I walked a beautiful and, above all, quiet dream loop with the sinkhole path. Only at the eastern tip, near the town of Sinz, did I suddenly have the feeling of being on the Nürburgring. The federal highway 406 seems to be mistaken for a racetrack by some motorcyclists and it does so continuously. I feel sorry for the people in Sinz (and other places) who have to endure this every weekend in the warm months.
But I also learned something, namely what sinkholes are.
The tour is not very spectacular, but offers a nice hike over well-tended paths.

Today I went on a little bike tour in the east of the country again.
The route first led northwest to just before Junglinster, where I visited the memorial for the victims of road traffic. Then it went in an easterly direction via Bech, Lellig and Manternach back to the Moselle. From Mertert I followed the border river over the three cantons cycle path to Machtum. From here it went steeply uphill to home.

Actually, the tour was planned to be a little shorter, namely without circumnavigating the lake, but with a shortcut over the dam, which is also shown as a route on the map. However, the dam is closed to the common people, so I would either have had to walk back a little or further around the lake. Since I didn't feel like going back, there wasn't much left. But it was worth it, the tour is nice and so was the weather.

After that little prick yesterday, you shouldn't do endurance sports for 48 hours, the doc said, but a walk is ok. Well, the ascent to the Maunert summit and the cliff path was brisk for a walk.
The hike is very beautiful, with wonderful panoramas on all sides.
Surefootedness and good hiking shoes are essential on the rock path.

To bridge the training time of the little daughter, her “chauffeur” had to kill time again.
I did this, this time planned and with a dog, by exploring the area around Stadtbredimus again.
The tour is not recommended for after-hike, however, as it went through difficult terrain in parts, whereby even paths marked as such were barely recognizable.
