A sundial usually consists of a rod or a straight edge, the shadow of which shows the time on a dial divided into hours. However, the Röttinger Sonnenuhrenweg offers many other forms of these special timepieces: a spherical sundial, a sundial with light refraction through a piece of glass and much more. The builder of these fascinating sundials is the master locksmith Kurt Fuchslocher from Bad Mergentheim, who died in 2010.
