Hirschtrail Mountain Bike Trail

The Hirschtrail is one of the three best MTB trails in the Vogelsberg Mountains. Many thanks to the team who created and maintains the trails so well! Great!

The very beautiful nature trail is fun because it technically easy to playful flows in the upper part down the valley. Road sections are identical to the cross-country ski trail in winter. If it has rained before but you have to count on sleazy tracks, deep mud holes and slippery spots and react properly. Otherwise there is a peat pack for free ;-)
There are some technical passages in the later part, on a winding singletrack, between trees just through and the one or tricky place. After you often can not see the trail far, highest concentration, adapted somewhat throttled speed and responsiveness is required.

Actually, a nice and long trail, sometimes tricky, sometimes very rooty and mushy after rain. Mittlerweie but sometimes requires almost a machete
