The Old Swede (Glacial Erratic)

Nice resting place right next to the striking 1.5 billion year old Ice Age boulder!

It is worth the drive to the Hoherodskopf! The deer trail goes almost ten kilometers downhill, starts with category S0 and increases to S2 + (my assessment) and is very fast to drive. The way back is nice to drive. (More information: koko-pelli.de/trails-tracks-tours/der-hirsch-trail)

The Wildsautrail has a lot of roots, therefore mostly S2-S3. The descent is about eight kilometers long, but not as fast as the deer trail. The way back is steeper and in places also leads over root paths. (More information: koko-pelli.de/trails-tracks-tours/der-wildsau-trail)
Personally, I like the deer trail better.
