This former reception building was built in 1907/08 with Art Nouveau style editions. The station replaced former stations in Langendreer from 1860 and 1874, and was used until 1983 for passenger transport.
Since 1986, the reception building as a "cultural station" with numerous events in several halls, cinema, café and meeting rooms in operation.
