    Hiking

The catfish is a left tributary of the Oder in the northern district of Barnim and in the Uckermark district and flows into the Hohensaaten-Friedrichsthaler Wasserstraße near Schwedt / Oder. The 66 km long organically shaped river rises 2 km northwest of the center (village church) of Friedrichswalde about 73 m above sea level. After a flow path of 5.5 km, of which only about 400 m are piped, the source stream flows into the Großer Präßnicksee.
