Between the Dahme-Umflutkanal and the Spreewiesen, this dike runs along the northern edge of the Spreewald. It is easier to hike up on the dike than on the concrete slope right next to it. The path on the dike is overgrown, so that you run relatively smoothly. The dike is closed to motor vehicles. Although it is also approved for cyclists, it is not advisable to cycle on it. The surface is not suitable for this.
