Mountaineering
The easiest way to climb the Rohnenspitze is from Zöblen in the Tannheimer Tal. Just the "Pontental", a high valley between Ponten and Rohnenspitze with its Alpenrosen- and Latschenbewuchs recommended. About the refuge on Zierleseck the path then leads in the upper part a bit rocky to the summit.

Great summit with nice easy climb from the north side. Crossing to the Zirlseck and on to the Geißhorn or Ponten and Bschießer possible.

Wonderful view of a unique mountain world. Especially the descent from the Rohnenspitze towards Ponten was for me the absolute highlight of this tour.
