Hiking

The first jumping hill was already in Etzelwang in 1935. In the 1950s, however, DAV Noris Nürnberg played a major role in the creation of the 30 meter natural hill at Brennberg. Poor snow conditions in the 1980s and a lack of young talent brought the end of the Norisschanze. The last official competition was in February 1986, until 1995 it was used by local youth.

Hiking

When you see the rather small "hill" you can first imagine the big jumps.

Hiking highlight. In Etzelwang in 1935 there was the first hump. In the 1950s, however, DAV Noris Nürnberg played a key role in the formation of the 30 m natural hill on the Brennberg. Bad snow conditions in the 80s and a lack of offspring brought the Aus der Norisschanze. The last official competition was in February 1986, until 1995 it was used by local youth.
