The remains of the Berlin Wall were painted by various artists after reunification, making the former gray dividing wall the longest open-air gallery in the world. Some of the most well-known paintings such as "The Brother Kiss" by Dimitrji Vrubel or Birgit Kinder's Trabant crashing through the wall are still popular motifs for postcards today.
