Hiking Highlight (Segment)
The longest open-air gallery is located in Friedrichshain and has existed since 1990. 118 artists painted their works on this hinterland wall between Oberbaumbrücke and Ostbahnhof over a mile and a half. The wall still testifies to the hopes and exuberant joy that were felt everywhere in Berlin shortly after the fall of the wall. In 2009 the individual works were renovated again by the artists and the gallery has been a listed building since then.
