Beautiful old stud, here you can branch off over a path from the waterfall.

In the early 13th century Konrad von Urach is said to have founded Güterstein as a Cistercian monastery. The Benedictines took over the monastery in the 14th century. In 1439 the monastery came to the Carthusian order.
Nothing is left of the monastery building at that time. In 1819, King Wilhelm I of Württemberg had a stud farm built on the site of the monastic farm.
The picturesque courtyard is now part of the main and state stud Marbach.

The stud is just beautiful. It's nice to look at the horses.
