The Iterbach rises in the Osthertogenwald, south of Raeren in Belgium. At Grenzstein 927, near the town of Sief, he crosses the border into Germany. It is close to nature, but is burdened by the intensive agriculture and waste water from Belgium. The valley of the same name is spanned in front of Kornelimünster by the Itertal Viaduct of the Vennbahn. The stone bridge structure (viaduct) from 1885 is listed. After the railway is closed, the Vennbahn cycle path now runs over it.

Ancient Roman water viaducts line the path. Amazing what they did at the time.
