In 1910, the Nuremberg architect Hans Müller presented the plans for the rifle house, which were implemented by 1911. With construction costs of an impressive 360,000 marks (equivalent today around two million euros), it was one of the largest and most modern shooting sports facilities in the German Empire at that time.
The forest restaurant with beer garden is open to everyone.
