The English Bridge connects the German part of the Fürst-Pückler-Park Bad Muskau, which is divided by the Lusatian Neisse, with the significantly larger part on Polish territory.

Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau had the English Bridge built in 1822 not far from the English House. Because the bridge was repeatedly damaged by floods, Prince Friedrich of the Netherlands had the wooden bridge replaced by a stone structure in 1857. Like the double bridge, German soldiers blew up the English Bridge in 1945 to make the advance of the Red Army more difficult. Reconstruction, financed by the federal government, only took place in 2010 and 2011. polish-online.com/fotos/fuerst-pueckler-park-bad-muskau/englische-bruecke.php#Foto-Polen

In the Fürst-Pückler-Park Bad Muskau, which is divided by the Lusatian Neisse, the English Bridge connects the German part of the park with the significantly larger part on Polish territory.
The bridge, built in 1822, was destroyed several times, most recently in 1945 due to the effects of war. Its reconstruction began after 65 years, and since autumn 2011 it has once again offered visitors a direct path to the former location of the English House in the northeastern part of the park.
