Hiking

In the Nuremberg countryside you can discover several facades covered with colorful speckles. The buildings date back to the first half of the 19th century. It could therefore be that the craftsmen were inspired by older kitchen paintings. The actual models for this are, however, to be seen in the baroque fashion of jasper, a process in which paint splashes are applied to a monochrome façade surface. The facade design is always subject to a need to represent.
