The Klingenhofer Anger - an old hutanger with a size of 13.6 hectares, is located between Klingenhof and Egensbach. Here is this giant oak whose branches are actually trees. Lay in the shade under the tree and be amazed. Definitely worth seeing, size 6.20m and height 25m, age about 400 years. monumentaltrees.com/de/deu/bayern/nurnbergerland/9905_klingenhoferanger

The name “Hutanger” comes from “to guard” and means that this was, and in this case still is, grazing land. The Klingenhofer Anger is a unique and fascinating place and you could spend hours under the giant trees that provide shade. The large oaks, linden trees, beeches and firs, the old apple trees and birches exude an indescribable atmosphere. Definitely worth seeing. monumentaltrees.com/de/deu/bayern/nurnbergerland/9905_klingenhoferanger
