At Klingenhof adjacent is the Klingenhofer Anger, a Hutanger and today Biotopverbundsystem, which is since 1986 a protected landscape component. It is the site of centuries-old oak, beech, spruce and pine trees. The particular value of the Angers lies in its predominant stock of grassy grasslands and semi-arid grasslands for the flora and fauna especially for the butterfly fauna.
