In this outcrop one can see the occurrence of the lower shell limestone (deposits of a marginal sea of the Triassic). Foam lime is rich in fossils. The rock was mined in this area until the 1960s. This can be seen from the steep rock faces, which today give an "insight" into the history of the earth.
