Barf is a fabulous (albeit small) Lake District fell (469m) overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake, opposite the mighty Skiddaw. Its name doesn't sound particularly appealing, but the views are very good! Continue your hike along to Lord's Seat to bag another Wainwright.

Barf is a gorgeous little fell overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It's a member of the North Western Fells family and is easily linked with neighbouring Lord's Seat.
A word of caution. The ascent up Barf's south east face, via the Bishop of Barf (a distinctive white-painted rock), catches a lot of people out. It is relentlessly steep and features the kind of tricky scrambling that is normally associated with larger fells. Mountain Rescue receive a number of call outs every year to this route. You have been warned.

A great little Wainwright to do with superb views looking down over Bassenthwaite Lake. Nice trails to and from it from Lord's Seat.
