Chainwalk can be avoided by a different higher path. Check tide tines before attempting. Have suitable clothing and footwear Have a head for height. Beautiful beaches, especially the Largo bay beach, totally deserted.

Ride to Sunderland Point
Interesting coastal bridleway, unfortunately I didn't check the tide so had to retrace our steps rather than use the tarmac road which was submerged!
NB Heysham Head is no cycling

Ilkley Moor, The 12 Apostles
Mainly followed tje Millennium pathway. Beautiful sunny day, but baltic icy 🌬️.
We marked path.
Plenty of parking. Cafe and pub near the Cow and Calf.
Plenty of choice in Ilkley.

Langcliffe to Settle via Victoria Cave
We used OS Map OL2. Easy to follow route up the steep tarmac road out of Langcliffe, then onto the BW. Plenty of FP signs to keep you right. We were intending to walk to Scaleber Force, but my wee dog went lame and we cut down to Upper Settle…
