This stone is located on the Schlossplatz in front of the main portal of the Catholic Court Church. From here, Emperor Napoleon I directed the deployment of his troops in the battle of Dresden on August 26, 1813.

Unworked block of granite supporting an oval concrete medallion. The memorial stone is located next to the refuge on the Napoleonstein and was inaugurated on May 28, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the site. There is an explanatory board in the refuge.
