Lowthwaite Fell is a Birkett in the northern Lake District National Park. It's often bypassed as Wainwright baggers connect Brae Fell or Great Sca Fell with Longlands Fell but Lowthwaite Fell is a great hill in its own right. At 509m it offers lovely views over Great Cockup to Skiddaw. The summit is marked with the smallest of cairns.

Lovely little hill that is surprisingly higher than its Wainwright neighbour Longlands Fell but is not a Wainwright in itself despite its lofty charm and great views.
