The Vuachère has its source at the margins of the city.
Simple bucolic stream at its source, it then marks the landscape by digging, "growls" deep gorges in the molasse. He ends his run in the lake in a peaceful stream after some harmonious meanders. Wild but crossing the whole city, the Vuachère is the only forest corridor connecting the lake to the top of the city. Its Celtic origins, when it was still called "Nant", give this torrent this strength of character that personifies the fox. And there are many foxes that haunt this valley. So that's our guide. Let's follow the footsteps of the fox and start an unusual walk.
The Chemin de la Vuachère sometimes takes sidewalks and paths, sometimes narrow and steep forest paths. He crosses the river by footbridges and stairs. To follow this path, locate the wooden markers that mark its passage at the crossroads of the main streets and follow the fox that has left footprints on the ground and indicates the direction to take at each intersection. Regularly didactic panels describe the river and note the peculiarities of the flora, the geological curiosities, the animals to observe, the interest of an architectural ensemble or the history of the place.
