Only with one tip did I find the cross, hidden away from the Rödel in the middle of the forest. Nicely worked with an inscription that unfortunately can no longer be seen or read.

If that's true, it should be a pilgrim's cross of Saint Ganglof. Traces can also be found in Nahen Balgstädt. The believers are said to have covered the path to or from the cross on their knees. Ouch 🥴🤭.
