View from Galgenberg Villmar over the Lahn Valley

It goes through small, narrow streets through the village and up to the Galgenberg with its refuge, which is also the highest point of this hike with a beautiful view over the Taunus.
In the southeast rises the north-western part of the Taunus, which is also heavily forested, with the Villmarer Galgenberg (277 m) as its westernmost outpost, visible from afar, after the Limburg Basin.(Source: ich-geh-wandern.de)

Free hiking car park with a refuge nearby.Various (long-distance) hiking trails and circular routes start / run here, such as the 🌲Tanne circular route, the shorter 🦊 Fuchs circular route, the Lahn-Camino pilgrimage route (Jakobsweg) and the Alte Heerstraße hiking route.

Nice refuge for a rest with a great view.
