Schiesshaus on the Damgarten Meadow

On the Damgartenwiese is the shooting house where the king once hunted.
Unfortunately, you can't take a look inside through the closed shutters.

One of several pavilions in the red deer park near the Bärenschlössle, in this case the shooting house on the Damgarten meadow. Unfortunately it is always closed, so you cannot look inside. However, there are some interesting wooden works of art in front of the building.

Location + history: The shooting house is located in the northern part of the Rotwildpark Stuttgart not far from the Bernhardsbach.
The old shooting house in the Rotwildpark near Stuttgart is a reminder of the time when the forest was only accessible to the rulers and goes back to the old Württemberg rulers.
It was often used by hunters for the hunting party and their drinks and the like.
