According to Wikipedia, the oldest tree is an approximately 700 (!) Year old sessile oak, which is 13.5 m high and has developed over 7 m trunk circumference. Due to its age and its beauty, it is under nature protection.
This tree Methuselah is not to be confused with the "Big Oak" (official name: "Old Oak"), which is also imposing but at 350 years old is only half as old. The "Big Oak" is in the village of Rossbach (former soccer field) and is also designated there as a komoot highlight (some of the pictures assigned here show the "Big Oak").
