The "Villa Hubertus" in Marmagen was built in 1917 by the then sawmill owner Carl Milz. The villa was built during the First World War and confiscated by the Nazis in the Second World War. The first chancellor, Konrad Adenauer, was a frequent guest in the pretty property. In the early 1990s, the complex was converted into a guest and seminar house.
