At the viewing platform at the former Gossler Park, an information board reminds of the former summer house of the Gossler family and their civil courage.
In order to prevent the NSDAP from renting the manorial country house, which was no longer used as a summer residence, as a training center, Baron Cornelius von Berenberg-Gossler obtained a certificate of disrepair from a building contractor in 1934 and had the villa demolished within 12 days.
