This beautiful viewpoint is located above Eckartshausen. From here, you can see as far as Thuringia. On the horizon, you can see the ridge of the Thuringian Forest. In the foreground rise the striking Gleichberg Mountains, the Straufhain, the Heldburg Fortress, and, in the immediate vicinity, the Höhenberg near Hellingen. The Coburg Fortress is just as clearly visible as the Bleßberg near Schalkau. So, it's not necessary to climb the Zeilberg, although the view from up there is even better. A seating area and a hut invite you to rest or offer shelter.
