    Hiking

On the Großer Everstein you can clearly see the neck moat and the site of Everstein Castle. Many remains no longer exist.

    Hiking

The detour to the castle at the end of the Eeges, the stairway on the right to the hut (closed) further to the ramparts with rocks is not worth much. Ascent to the castle hill not possible.
The descent to NW on X28 officially closed. But not clear why. The path was easy to pass. If you don't want to do this, use the southern turnoff directly to the hiking car park.
