Lahinch (also called Lehinch) is a lively and eclectic coastal town on Liscannor Bay. When the tide is out, you can walk back and forth along the beach to the Inagh River. When the tide is high, it's fun to sit on the promenade and watch the surfers. If you feel like more activity, you can venture into the waves and book boards or a course through one of the seven surf schools on site. It is definitely an experience and worth it! You can warm up afterwards in the local swimming pool or in one of the cozy cafés such as “Joe's Cafe” (my favorite).
