The giraffe sculpture in Praga Park is one of its most recognizable symbols. Installed in 1981 as a gift from the Warsaw Zoo for children, it is 13 meters high and made of acid-resistant stainless steel. The Giraffe sculpture was set up in Prague Park in New Prague in the Praga Północ district in Warsaw.
Made of acid-resistant stainless steel, the 13-meter sculpture of the Giraffe was placed near the main avenue of Prague Park in 1981 as a gift from the Warsaw Zoological Garden for children.
The sculpture, which was to be an artistic creation in accordance with the surrounding nature, was made by the artist Władysław Frycz.
