Existing rail routes cannot be guaranteed permanently
The Ammerland already has a very well-developed bicycle route network, the most direct connection currently being the railway along the Bad Zwischenahn -> Oldenburg railway line. Only pedestrians and cyclists are allowed here. The problem, however, is that this route is on Deutsche Bahn property and may therefore not be available forever.
