After work this afternoon, I had a visit at my place of work. Dörte, Susanne and Günter picked up Rolli from work.
We then went to eat together at Deseo.
Great, eating together on the terrace for the first time 😋.
Then I led the three of them over Metjendorf over the runway to Ofen and on over the bike path behind the KJK over Wehnen and further towards Woldsee and then along the railway line to Kayhauserfeld.
After we brought Günter and Susanne home, we also drove home.
So I could be brought home every evening 🤣.
Isn't it great to have friends like that? 🥰

This morning Dörte, Pia and Rolli drove to Susanne and Günter and picked them up. Actually, we wanted to drive the wall hedge route.
We drove from the turtle enclosure on the small train path towards Aschhauserfeld along the main roads to avoid the heavily frequented bike paths on the Zwischenahner Meer 🌊. When we got back to Mansholt, we took our first break at a bus shelter.
Then it went on towards Bokel.
There we entered the Wallhecken route.
We couldn't really make up our minds in which direction we wanted to go.
When we went back and forth a few we drove to the landscape window wall hedges. We took our next break there. When a rain shower surprised us, we decided to drive back home.
We then drove on via Wiefelstede towards Gristede.
Then continue home via Rostrup along the main roads via Ohrwegerfeld. We were surprised again by a heavy rain shower.

This morning Susanne and Günter visited us for breakfast. Then we drove off without a fixed goal in mind 👀. Since the weather is still very cool 🥶 Susanne would like to put on even warmer clothes. Then we went on via Jeddeloh I and Jeddeloh II and then crossed the coastal canal. Behind Jeddeloh II we took our first break on a nice group of benches.
Then it went on towards Bösel past the Vehnemoor. The cotton grasses are blooming there at the moment. There are large areas to be seen here.
In Bösel we drove through the village park. Very nice area with many benches and a beautiful lake with a fountain.
It then went along a disused railway line.
Behind Bösel we found another nice resting place and took a break.
From there it went on to Friesoythe.
I actually wanted to buy a new helmet ⛑ at the big bike shop. But you didn't have the one I'm looking for. Too bad.
From there it went on over the old railway line, which has been converted into a cycle path, to the old Friesoyther Canal. We then drove along the canal to the coastal canal.
At the Schwaneburg Moor we crossed the coastal canal and then drove to Kamperfehn.
There we crossed the Elisabethfehn Canal over the pedestrian bridge, which was no easy undertaking with the somewhat heavier Pedelec.
Then it went via Harkebrugge towards Westerscheps.
From there on over the Fintlands Moor home. All in all a very nice tour with lots of impressions 👌👍😃🚲

Today at noon Susanne and Günter picked us up and we then just drifted. The tour took us over the Dänikhorster Moor and on towards Karlshof. We took our first break at the Drakamp
Then we drove on via Lohorst to Scheps. On the new cycle path to Dänikhorst and then back home. Everyone is satisfied and then let us have a good time at home on the terrace 😇

This early evening Dörte had asked us whether we could do a little evening round on May Day. Pia in Rolli immediately looked for her clothes and we drove together towards Dänikhorst-Scheps. Rolli really wanted to take the cycle path created by the new junction system, which now branches off from the Hemeler and leads through the fields towards Osterscheps. We then drove to school in Osterscheps and Dörte showed Pia where she used to go to school as a little girl.
From there we drove over the Bauernhörne to the Charles Bridge over the Aue. We took a short break there.
Then we drove on via Westerscheps to Fintlands Moor and back home. The weather was still very fresh. Gloves are still very good while driving
