The Protestant town church took its present appearance and structure around 1856. Although the original church existed as early as 1300, the chancel dates back to the 15th century.
All the bells were cast by Heinrich Kurtz in Stuttgart, although the smallest is 30 years older than all the others. It is noteworthy that Robert Leicht and Son, owners of the "Schwabenbräu" brewery, donated the bells, the organ, and the windows.
