The Nachtigall colliery is a former coal mine in Bommern. The mine is located at the entrance of the mother valley and is part of the mining trail Muttental. The mine was one of the largest civil engineering in the region. On the mine was mined in civil engineering fat coal, which had a good quality. Today, the LWL-Industriemuseum Zeche Nachtigall is located on the factory premises.
